Peter Davoust (he/him) is an artist, writer, and former software engineer who founded local Vancouver publishing company Shrimp Cult Press. He loves play, visual art, and the incredible power of storytelling. After spending much of his life pursuing science and engineering in his academic and professional life, he realized that his true love is story and its ability to connect us through our common humanity. His goal is to bring beautiful things into the world and to amplify the reach of stories that create connection, especially through humour and play. He hopes his publishing company will be a platform that helps amplify the voice of anyone trying to create connection in the world, especially those who are marginalized. Outside of publishing, he loves to watch and perform improv, read, play D&D, and illustrate the occasional comic.
