Join the UBC Comics Studies Cluster next Saturday, May 24th from 10 AM-5 PM to celebrate local comics creators and art at Rain City Comic Con!
Rain City Comic Con is Vancouver’s newest comics event dedicated to showcasing the work of comic artists in the Greater Vancouver Area. Started by a coalition of independent publishers and comics affiliates, the mission of Rain City Comic Con is to bring a second creator-led comics event to the Greater Vancouver Area, so that comic creators have yet another opportunity to present their work to the general public.

Location: Yaletown Roundhouse
Cost: FREE!!
Rain City Comic Con is a collaboration between the UBC Comics Studies Cluster, comics event organizer Weird Space, and John Anderson of Soaring Penguin Press.
While our initial event is scheduled for May at the Roundhouse – a time and venue typically associated with VanCAF – Rain City Comic Con has no intention of competing with or replacing VanCAF. Moreover, we look forward to supporting VanCAF upon their return!
